Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the organising committee for this year’s EAOC meeting, I would like to invite you all to the meeting on 17th November at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds.
We have specifically aimed the meeting at the general orthopaedic surgeon, the likes of which makes up the majority of the regions workforce. With this in mind, we have invited a mixture of previous Norfolk and Norwich trainees and current consultants. The aim is to cover the generality of trauma, but with each speaker chosen due to their specific tertiary experience.
This years speakers include:
Ben Ollivere (Nottingham)
Henry Wynn-Jones (Wrightington)
Karl Logan (Halifax, Nova Scotia)
Alex Montgomery (London)
Ben Davis and AD Patel (Norwich).
Coupled with this we have asked Prof McNamara and Miss Claire Edwards to update the region on the work being undertaken by the Norwich Biofilms group with respect to periprosthetic joint infection.
I hope you will all be able to join us for what will be an entertaining and thought provoking day.
