Tomorrow’s Teachers Course for Health Education England East of England Trainees
Following the successful Tomorrows Teachers courses held in the past, we are delighted to announce four further dates for this popular event. Please find attached a flyer for courses on the 9 & 10 May 2018, and 17 & 18 July 2018.
Background:
This is a highly acclaimed one day teaching course designed by trainees for trainees with the overall aim of enhancing your teaching skills to enable teaching and learning in the work place. This is a not for profit course, the motivation for bringing this course to the region is to improve teaching opportunities and training.
When:
The next set of courses will be held on the 9 & 10 May, and 17 & 18 July 2018. Please note this is a one day course. Please do not register for more than one date.
This course is open to FY2s, CTs, STs and GP registrars.
Aims:
- To maximise teaching and learning in the workplace
Objectives:
- To identify factors and principles that promote effective learning
- To develop techniques to tackle teaching challenges and dilemmas
- To practice presentation and feedback skills within a supportive group
- To explore methods for maximising teaching opportunities in day-to-day work
Location: 2-4 Victoria House, Capital Park, Fulbourn, Cambridge CB21 5XB

Application Process:
To register yourself a space, you will need to sign-up via Eventbrite:

You will need to select the date that you wish to attend, you may only select one date. When all spaces have been filled you will not be able to complete the application form online as the booking system will then close. If the system does state fully booked when you try to register, please email ttfaculty.eoe@hee.nhs.uk, and request to be put on the waiting list (please make sure you specify which date you would like to attend).
Once you have received your email confirmation and ticket we will require you to complete the following steps:
- Print the ticket attachment that has been emailed to you
- Send this ticket along with a cheque for £100, made payable to ‘Health Education England’ to be received within 5 days of successfully registering your place. Failure to do this could result in you losing your place
- Please address this envelope clearly FAO Jenni Swain, Tomorrow’s Teachers Faculty, Health Education East of England, 2-4 Victoria House, Capital Park, Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB21 5XB
- You will receive a further email to confirm your cheque has been received in time and that your place is confirmed
Please note that your place is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
