Dear Trainees,
boa-logo-2015As you are aware since 2014, the BOA has provided access to the United Kingdom and Ireland In-Training Examination (UKITE) held every December within training programmes.

Currently the UKITE hosts a question bank of around 11,500 MCQs and EMQs providing a powerful educational resource with high quality, relevant and curriculum-based questions. We would like you to make your trainees aware that this year the UKITE will run from 9th-16th December.

This year the EoE deanery will host the UKITE exam in several locations across the region to allow trainees to sit the exam in an invigilated setting.  This will allow trainees to be eligible for the BOA prize for best results in an invigilated setting!

In order for trainees to sit the UKITE exam they will need to apply for BOA membership by 31st October. Membership applications are submitted online – www.boa.ac.uk/membership/join-today/. Once membership has been approved trainees must complete their subscription payment for 2016 by credit card, bank transfer or cheque by 14th November in order to receive login details to access the UKITE website – www.ukite.org.uk. Trainees who are already paid up members of the BOA will receive their login details w/c 3rd October.

Please note that non-BOA members who sit the UKITE exam will be charged a fee of £150 and must complete the online application form which will be available on the BOA website from Monday 3rd October.

If you or any of your trainees have any questions regarding UKITE 2016 please email ukite@boa.ac.uk
