Dear ST3s, ST4s, ST5s, ST6s, ST7s, ST8s & beyond

Please ensure that you have requested your study leave for the most important day in your annual training calendar 📆

Are you wanting to present your research findings to international experts?
Do you want to win a prize and enhance your CV?
Are you wishing to take time out abroad as part of your training?
Are you wanting to conduct a short travelling fellowship with a keynote opinion leader of Orthopaedics?
Do you want to know what your colleagues are up-to in the region?
Are you wanting to know where the consultant jobs are coming up and who’s in the frame?
Do you have an idea for an amazing new surgical tool and want help getting it to market?
Do you have a question for the training programme director?
Are you wanting to influence the EOE training rotation? Or become BOTA president?
Do you fancy hanging out with friends who love Orthopaedics just like you?
Have you been working hard and want to let off steam?
If the answer to any of these is yes, then the Cambridge Orthopaedic Club Meeting on 23rd March 2018 is for you!
Make sure you have filled in your study leave, informed Ross Coomber that you are coming to both the meeting and dinner, bought your tickets for both on the Cambridge Orthopaedic Club website.
Please bring your partners to the dinner too as we get to see the whole you (and sometimes a better side of you, that could be the game changer, ask Dr Kang, how she managed to turn my fortunes around!)
This is your day and the consultants want to celebrate with you!
I’ll certainly be cracking open a bottle of Cherry Coke Zero & eating the vegetarian meal.

Look forward to seeing all 69 of you trainees there!
